We aim to provide the cheapest way, alternative energy, alternative ways, better ways to do things! worldwide. We will also promote cheaper deals for you (UK).

Think about it: it is more effective to save £75 than earn £100!!- It is easier to save than to earn, and to earn £100 most of us will have to pay income tax (for most Brits is approx. 25% therefore £25 from your £100= £75, even more for high earners). So read on to see how you can save the cheapest way!

This has been a busy summer on other projects so apologies for lack of recent updates, but more frequent updates will be coming soon again as winter is coming, such as cheaper heating.

We are back from Australia from a research mission.

We are working on new research of cheapest ways to heat your house and cheaper energy through your house, cheapest and simplest first to the more expensive options. There are short term and longer term solutions, each with advantages and disadvantages as everyone has different preferences.

This site is UK orientated but our sister site is being built as worldwide orientated and based on money making ways and alternative fuels and energy- watch this space! .

Our Mission

This purpose of this site is to provide information on the cheapest way to do things, to provide offers and links to the cheapest deals from some of the biggest brands. There is always a trade-off with price versus quality and we aim for the best value rather than simply cheap rubbish. We want the BEST DEALS for you! Finding anyway to reduce the cost of living for YOU. 

The site is regularly updated on many of the pages, with a lot of good stuff in mind to put on, it is just a matter of time. We do the research to find the cheapest ways to power your home and vehicles, build a house and the best deals around too. This is our life passion and obsession, which by using this method has enabled us to complete our mortgage and semi-retire before 40, you can do this too!. All we ask of you is to come back as often as you like and read our findings for free! That is the true spirit of the web. It would be great to do our bit in saving the planet by giving information on greener fuels too.

How do we benefit? we have some affiliated links and adverts on the site that we hope some will click through, the offers will not cost you any more than going direct!. This is an ethical site and you will not find a load of high paying links strung out simply because they pay, we will always highlight the best deals regardless of our benefit, as can be seen on the Latest and Greatest Offers table above, many are not affiliated in any way, simply great deals. Why do we do this? so that viewers come back again. The more people use our site (and benefit from the information) the higher the site popularity and therefore google placement. It is in our interest to provide great information to you for free!

THE Cheapest way blog

The ultimate cheapest way of living is to become fully self sufficient, including food, car and house fuel/ energy, perhaps even to build your own house on cheap land, utilising a septic tank if no waste pipes are local (usually in Europe) and a self sufficient power supply/ heating. However, there are limits to how far you want to go. Most of us will only want to use a mixture of self-sufficient resources. The ultimate self sufficient types will design a new house around the concept for maximum cost effective gains, including solar heat pumps, solar thermal heating, individual solar tiles and thermal mass heating storage designs. Many of these would be too costly to add to a normal home unless greener energy is your only aim regardless of cost.

We all know that if you shop around in the big supermarkets that swamp the country that you will find small bargains and offers and that you can grow certain food yourself, so we won’t go into food savings. It still pays to shop around for bigger bills such as insurance but when it comes to major fuel or power savings we have to come out of the norm’ a little.

For bigger fuel/ power savings there are a number of options emerging including hydropower- breaking water down into Hydrogen (Browns gas) with various methods of using this resource too, including fuel assist rather than full dependency. Many people don’t realise that you can use homemade alternative fuels such as home-made Biodiesel legally, if you pay the duty on it; it still works out cheaper than buying from the pumps at today’s inflated prices. see the fuel blog on our cheap car fuel  page. A Biodiesel engine or alternative fuel engine (such as hydropowered) can also be utilised as a home generator.
